This is my last post for my Krabi travel diary. As what they say, save the best for last. If you’re thinking that Thailand is just famous for their undeniably captivating beaches, we’ll you don’t experience what Krabi can offer to all the tourist out there. This picturesque beauty comes in abundance of nature and hidden beauty secrets. This was a pervasive, inhabiting wind. It raged across the hill above, tearing into freshly bloomed cascades of yellow broom so that the color writhed. Cypresses, the most exposed of the trees, flexed acutely in the line of the wind. They signaled its direction- and identity. The intruder came from the north, sucked down the great valley of the Rhone and into Provence like a jet stream, This was the Mistral.
The terroir of Tavel is unique. The Chateau Trinquevedel vineyards are planted in sand with quartz round pebbles on the terraced hillside and in deep clay loam around the Chateau. Low rainfall, sunshine and summer heat along with the mistral wind produce rich and hearty fruit.
Anything can happen while traveling, so make sure there is a mobile phone (and charger!). If currently not an auto club member, either join one or have phone numbers of car towing companies in case of any breakdown. Travel when pregnant can be unpredictable, so you always want to be within reach.

Try it as well with Ficklin Aged 10 years Tawny Port from Madera, California. Made from two of the traditional Portugese port wine varieties: Tinta Madeira, and Touriga National, the long barrel aging and subsequent exposure to oxygen changes the color of the wine from deep red to a deep copper, and imparts aromas and flavors of poached pear, honey, raisins, toasted nuts and caramel that are delicious with the cheese. It retails for around $28.
After driving around the village, I was glad we had come to taste wine as there was very little particularly pretty or charming about Tavel despite the sign indicating that Tavel is classified as Village Fleuri. This classification is a result of an annual competition set up to promote the development of green spaces in towns and villages across France.
