Fortune Island was once a luxury island resort, but now it is now just an abandoned island with a few crumbling structures. However, this does not diminish the natural beauty that the island offers. In fact, one of these structures, called the Acropolis from the Acropolis of Athens , is the island’s current main attraction. Fortune Island’s Acropolis stands on a rocky cliff that juts out into the water. Many visit the island to take photos by this crumbling structure that is an imitation of the famous ancient citadel in Greece. The 2012 winner, Seattle’s Beechers Handmade Cheese Company beat out 1710 other entrees with its Flagsheep: a mixed cow and sheep milk cheddar from herds of Willapa Hills near Centralia Washington. Unfortunately, only 23 wheels were made, and the demand is far greater than the supply. If you are in Seattle, you may still be lucky enough to score some at Beecher’s Pike Street Market store, but the rest of us are likely out of luck.Tavel

He would have understood that this great-grandson, here to continue his work and keep the family tradition alive, hadn’t forgotten everything while attending engineering school after all, and that in his veins flowed the love for the land that is needed to make great wine! The U.S. is in the third-longest economic expansion in post-war history. There are more jobs, but wages have been a sore spot: since the financial crash, the typical American’s earnings have barely grown when you account for inflation. To track this dynamic over time, I worked with Jed Kolko, chief economist at Indeed, who analyzed U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data and projections on which this animated chart relies. Sector by sector, the chart follows employment and wages since 2006, just before the crash.

In order to help us deliver news that will be most relevant to you, please tell us a little about yourself. I love well made, chilled, crisp, dry rosé wines at any time of the year. Generally, I find Tavel wines to be too serious, heavy, not crisp and refreshing like those from Côtes de Provence, Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence, or Bandol. So when I tasted the Domaine de la Mordorée rosé at lunch that day, I wanted to go to the winery. So off we went; conveniently it was on the way back to Sablet.Tavel

Situated in Tavel, one of the most famous vineyards in France, this renovated school now functions as a hotel. It features stone walls, exposed wooden beams and an on-site restaurant. I’ve traveled by train in Alaska, Seattle to Portland, NYC Metro area, Europe and Brasil. I love going by train. It makes an easier transition for when you arrive and allows you to read and enjoy the scenery. One of my favorite trips was from London to Paris through the chunnel. I wish we had more train service here in the US!

Every year thousands of people fly from UK airports to destinations all around the world. Some travellers may not realise that they need to make their insurer aware of any medical conditions. One of the reasons that you need to be honest is that if you do fall ill and need repatriating then the doctor who will fly over to bring you back will need to know what if any medical equipment they may need to bring.

The administration will start pitching the tax reform effort in mid-August, according to sources involved. They’re hoping to get the bill itself finalized for mark-ups after Labor Day (count us as skeptical on that.) But while that happens, expect to see CEOs, White House surrogates, and high-profile conservative activists start talking up the plan.

For our first excursion from Cairanne, we chose a trip to the other side – the other side of the Rhone that is. Carole and Claude had never been to Lirac and Tavel before so we determined that the quickest way go on the A7 north to Orange Nord and then the A9 south for one exchange. This is definitely not the shortest route as the crow flies, but it is the fastest way and in around 40 minutes from Cairanne, we were in Tavel country – you defintely can’t do it that quickly across country. After the autoroute, we first drove through St. Laurent des Arbres with its impressive chateau. Plan on purchasing your tickets in advance as seats are reserved. (Tickets go on sale 30 days before the date of travel. The earlier you buy your ticket, the cheaper they will be.)
