First, get your Geneva Transport Card from your hotel/hostel. The card will allow you to use public transportation – trams, buses, trains and yellow taxi-boats called Mouettes – for free. Let’s start our sightseeing with the European headquarters of UN (5 on the map). Take tram 15 from the main railway station Gare Cornavin and get off at the last stop. Here’s the description of the Palatka Station Services: No Station Hours, No Ticket Office Hours, No Quik-Trak Hours, No Checked Baggage Hours, No Help With Baggage, No Shelter. About a year ago, we asked… Belsky who he thought had the greatest potential to become one of the best investors of the next decade. He answered quickly and definitively: Sarah Tavel. We’ve gotten to know Sarah over the last year. While we only very recently revealed our interest in having her join us, our interactions with her over the year amplified our instincts. She especially impressed us with the speed and quality of her thinking around disruptive markets, her ability to influence others with her ideas, and the depth of the relationships she has forged.
A staple of the Avignon popes and favorite wine of Louis XIV and King Philippe le Bel, Tavel was the first Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée (AOC), designated for rosé. The AOC has stayed true to its roots and to carry the name Tavel on the label, the wine must be rosé.
When i moved to Amherst, Mass a little over a year ago I landed with the amtrak station halfway between the Emily Dickinson homestead and me. I’m about 2 blocks south of the station. Even though I walk by it nearly every day I haven’t taken a train yet. There are murmurs of closing it in favor of a more prosperous route going through Northampton. That would be sad as Dickinson’s father was a primary instigator of bringing the train to Amherst. Thanks for the well-written reminder to Get On the Train!
I’ve traveled by train in Alaska, Seattle to Portland, NYC Metro area, Europe and Brasil. I love going by train. It makes an easier transition for when you arrive and allows you to read and enjoy the scenery. One of my favorite trips was from London to Paris through the chunnel. I wish we had more train service here in the US!
If you don’t exude a certain amount of friendliness and warmth, people are just simply not going to be drawn to you enough for you to convince them to book that product that they’re on the fence about. Hey, if there’s a more smiley travel agent sitting beside you who welcomes them into your shop, I’m sorry to say, but you missed out on that one.
